    $680 Million Wedding v. CalPERS

This resolution follows nearly ten years of litigation and comes after a bench trial that addressed major issues in the case. The funds for the settlement came from the CalPERS' Long-Term Care Fund, not the Pension Fund. The settlement provided significant financial relief to policyholders impacted by the rate increase.
