In his early 30s, Attorney Jack Davis of Kershaw Talley Barlow is considered an “attorney to watch” by everyone in the law firm, as well as many peers and colleagues from across the nation. We are excited to say that his diligent work as a class action lawyer and trial attorney has caught even more attention because he was recently featured in Comstock’s “Young Professionals Issue” of July 2025.
To make the interviews more comfortable and a bit more fun for everyone, Comstock’s – a monthly business magazine mainly distributed throughout Sacramento and Central California – invited Attorney Davis and several other young leading lawyers to the Bradshaw Animal Shelter. Not only did the interview format highlight the animal shelter and encourage people to adopt, not shop, but it also underscored the real compassion that is behind everything Jack does for the clients of Kershaw Talley Barlow.
Sitting down with the Comstock’s interviewer, Davis spoke about his career, his past, and his passions. He shared a story about how he met his wife while playing in the pit orchestra for the parody musical that the University of Minnesota Law School staged each year. He talked about the beginnings of his higher education at Deep Springs College and his decision to go into law. He also detailed some of the biggest cases of his career, like the Jackson, Mississippi water contamination case that went to an appeal before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals—all while enjoying the warm company of the cats at the Bradshaw’s Cat Café.
