We’ve supported Make-A-Wish, Habitat for Humanity, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and many other charitable groups. That’s why we were so excited to have a chance to support Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services by participating in the recent 2025 Run to Feed the Hungry.

Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services is one of the largest charitable and social assistance groups in the entire Bay Area and throughout Northern California. Last year alone, it helped more than 300,000 people each month receive food assistance and provided 5.6 million diapers to families with babies and infants, among many other important contributions and achievements. The 2025 Run to Feed the Hungry was an incredible opportunity to further the group’s goals by raising money for its food assistance programs. The run is such a great hit each year that the food bank has been able to host it for more than 30 years.

The 2025 Run to Feed the Hungry was held on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 27, 2025. It was a great date for the fundraising event because it emphasized both the importance of treating the community like family and what it means to be thankful for what you have. A 10K and a 5K run were scheduled that morning, and participants weren’t timed, so no one felt rushed. The event even had several live bands to liven things up!

Overall, our team from Kershaw Talley Barlow loved participating in the 2025 Run to Feed the Hungry for Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services. We look forward to participating next year, and we hope to see you there, too.
